A Temporary Use Permit (TUP) is required for temporary outdoor activities and events on private property, including but not limited to parking lot sales, temporary tents, employee gatherings, and dedication or ceremonial events, etc. It is recommended that you submit this application 1-2 months in advance from the event date to allow the departments enough time to review the proposal. This permit process takes 1-2 months to review, approve, and issue.

If you are proposing a temporary outdoor activities and events on public property you will need to apply for a "Special Event Permit" and not a TUP. If you are requesting a film permit, you will need to apply for a "Film Permit" and not a TUP.
An Amplified Sound Permit is required when utilizing amplified sound outdoors or in a matter that it cannot be contained indoors in private and or public property, including but not limited to the utilization of speakers for announcements/music, a DJ, a mariachi band, a live band, etc. The application can be found below:
