Wet weather groundwater monitoring is required on all sites that are 5% slope or less (gently sloping properties) and on sites where high groundwater is suspected.
Wet weather perc testing is required for clay soils that have shrink / swell properties and therefore need to have data recorded during the worst-case scenario of saturated soil conditions.
These two tests both occur in the same wet weather season, however groundwater monitoring is open for a 10 day window following a heavy rainfall and wet weather percolation testing occurs during the first quarter of each calendar year if there is sufficient rainfall.
