Maybe. First, a percolation test never has guaranteed the number of bedrooms a site can support. The only way to guarantee the number of bedrooms is to have a septic construction permit (SEP) or septic design application (SDA) submitted, reviewed, and approved by the County of Sonoma Well and Septic department.
Secondly, soil does not change, so historic soil data such as pre-perc site evaluations and percolation testing is still valid data and information, unless the site has been altered. However, the information may need to be augmented with additional testing if the original data does not align with the current OWTS manual requirements due to a change in regulations since the original testing was conducted. Examples could include hydrometer testing being required or percolation testing needed at different depths.
